Except that while Argentina's behaviour after the game was disgusting, scandalous, in the match itself, they were far, far more sinned against than sinners (and I'm not just talking about Rattin being sent off "for the look in his eye" at all).

Nowadays, the cameras would pick up what England did that day. Back then, they didn't, so a rather self-serving narrative was constructed instead.
