is not ?1.5m though is it. If he's on say ?20k a week and has 18 months remaining then it is worth at least double to us isn't it. ?3m generated for a 31 y/o player who clearly is not favoured by Hughton and could potentially wish to leave is not terrible business if it can be reinvested wisely.

But regardless, I don't think we should sell... and definitely not to Villa!

Hopefully Hughton can find a way to fit the little fella in. Trouble is Lambert is probably the only manager who has ever managed to successfully fit him into a system and get the best out of him. Wes must surely know this.
