I just a lot of our players played above themselves last season

with the buzz and adrenaline of playing in the Prem for the first time. Not uncommon, hence Second Season Syndrome. Reading had a great first season in 2007 and the next year, with basically the same manager, players and tactics, they got relegated.

I might be wrong, but to me a lot of the players from the promotion team have looked like the Championship players they probably are this season.

Agbonlahor reminded us on Saturday what a real Prem class player (even one who has been in poor form for a couple of years) is capable of doing.
