Agreed - we definitely look a better team than last year

last year was a bit wing and a prayer and we really rode our luck a lot of the time, which was fun to watch but not a recipe for establishing ourselves in the Prem.
This year we appear to have the ability to control a game, which we totally lacked last season. That bodes well.
What we lacked on Saturday in the second half was a bit of pace and width - hopefully the return of Pilks and Benno will provide a potential antidote to that. On Saturday it all became too congested and clogged up in the middle of the park to (the reason why I feel bringing on Wes would have been a total waste of time - it wasn't a game for him at all)
