Thats the biggest load of s**t ever posted to this board.

Yes, he was past his best but he was still the only member of our squad capable of beating a player, creating chances for others and/or scoring a goal from nothing. Other clubs still feared him and were still double marking him creating space for others. Yes defensively he was lazier than ever, but compared to the rest of our team at that point he was still very important, he could have been utilised well as a last 30 mins super sub when we chasing games.
