Last season he bossed every game I saw him play for Man City, never saw him whinging and remember seeing him having words with Balotelli & Tevez at separate times to try and keep them in order. Seems like a model older pro.

I agree with Lamberts Ethos of young Hungry and with a point to prove, but we need at least 1 player who has been there, seen it and done the lot. The majority of players have never played in the Prem and have never experienced losing regularly I think 1 older experienced pro who the others can look to is essential. Its about balance, you cant have a squad full of young uns, you cant have a squad full of old heads, all the best teams have a balance, take Fergie and Man U, always a perfect balance
