any team defending has another thing to worry about, it was previous managers who told him not to go over the half way line. Easy peasy for any left winger and full back to defend against Whalley by himself.
It's a similar dilemma to England and Crouch really. How many countries are worried about Heskey? er, none. Yet stick Crouch up there and opponents defences crumble, purely because of his height advantage and how awkward he is to play against.... his record proves it, and so does England's when he plays.
