They hired Roeder who had a 45% win rate in his previous job at a high profile high pressure club, who dug us out of the mire last year. Wheels came off when he lost Clark as an assistant.
Frankly the lack of enthusiasm for any of the proposed candidates tells me that there's no easy or obvious choice.
UNless you've got shed loads of cash to pay the new man and bankroll new spending.
Which gets me back to the starting point of being depressed about how football is entirely money orientated these days.
