It's the usual hypocrisy

Lots of "We need to give the new man time and stop changing managers every year" statements when he starts, followed in less than a year by "This is s**t. We need a new manager".

Another analogy is when people moan that we've been lumping it out from the back, yet as soon as we concede a goal from trying to play it out from the back...
