I am the proud owner of an Xbox elite. Why? Because both the premium and the core suffer from the 'red lights of death'. The systems seem to overheat inside and die...Literally thousands of premium and core systems have been sent back to MS to be fixed.

I got the elite because it's made differently, something to do with the solder used inside.

Anyhow, the elite is 120GB too, which is ample space for downloading demos etc via Xbox live.

Also, the wireless controllers are great. But you will need a plug in adaptor which uses the USB slot to charge up (takes about 2 hours...you can still play with the controller while its charging) and it will give around 5 hours of battery life.

And it's black, too.

So yeah, get an elite. And get Call of Duty 4. It's the mutt's nuts.
