Being Seeded For Euro 2008 Qualifiers Didn't Do Anything For Us!

Good! I'm bloody glad we're not seeded.

I bet the FA protest about it in some shallow way, they have in the past when we haven't been a seed.

Not being one might remove that "take it for granted" approach to qualification & might sharpen a few hearts and minds into making sure we do, rather than, as with Joe Cole earlier this week, talking about how this squad can win Euro 2008" before we'd even qualified!

Just think, we could be in a group with Italy, Belgium and some sticky little nation like Belarus or the ROI-nice!

Maybe its time to regard qualifying as a relative success as regards these tournaments and taking anything from there on in as a bonus, rather than thinking its our divine right to be there and we should win it anyway?
