Your post reminded me of a letter I sent to Matthew Sweet last year, after I watched his documentary on silent film in Britain - I took umbrage with his description of the British avant-garde magazine Close-Up and sent him a letter explaining that the docu was fascinating but that this section was unfair - never heard anything from him.
