they are not even moving here to stay.
He's talking about short term options.

Also people like you or I 'earn' our money all the time (when not wrathing).
The guys not in the first team are getting hefty wedges without really doing anything to justify it.

For me its not the same as your average Joe moving his family for a better job on a permanent basis.
