This is all true, and I broadly agree...

But NCFC have already shown they understand the need for a holistic approach, helping the player's family settle and so on, as well as anyone. The problem Keane and Roeder are hinting at, surely, is that more and more players are simply opting for the bright lights and the big city - simply because that's where their partners want to be amid the glamour, shopping malls (sorry for this Americanism: I can't think of the British equivalent off-hand) etc. It's a stereotype, I know - but if there's such a bias towards big cities, we're basically stuffed.
