but it is unquestionably true that it is scum's lack of security that has greased this deal - enabling, so we are told, Evans to buy assets nominally worth £32m for £6m or so. What he intends to do with those assets is another thing. Football is littered with the wreckage of clubs whose supposed "white knight" has pissed off with a lot of money. He might be genuine - but from little is known about him - I'd bet he isn't.
I'd also be interested to know why Sisu (or whoever it was) backed out of what, on the face of it, was a more favourable deal back in the Summer.
