A pal of mine, s/t holder at Fulham said that Coleman, after some good years, had gone stale in his last season, and tactically Coleman was struggling.

But overall Coleman, he stressed, had done good job there, but it was time for a change.

Plus he selected Zat Knight every week who everyone considered a complete liability.
