Oh I hadn't forgotten about the first season..

But if anything that season showed that the 2nd season shouldn't of brought Wigan so close to relegation. (I don't buy into all these 2nd season is harder bollocks).

He had lots of money to spend in the summer before that season and Wigan should of been comfortable mid-table.
