from reading manyof the posts on here in the last 20 hours or so that people are generally beinning to realise that our beloved club is in serious trouble.
Ok so, bickering and bleating apart, what needs to be done? Financially we seem to be reasonably stable (when compared to many other clubs) but that will not remain the case if we get relegated. The season ticket figures of which we are so proud will decline and if it's hard to attract players now what will it be like if we are a division lower?
Whatever people say Delia nd several others on the Board have done us huge service and cannot be jettisoned just like that.
However, they MUST accept their basic error in appointing a novice when we were in a real mess a year ago. NOW they must put that right at whatever short-term expense and get in an experienced manager. As I wrote last night, quoting somebody at yesterday's game, 'It will cost less to get rid of Grant now than it will if we go down'.
He might be passionate but he is simply a dreadful manager (cannot motivate players, slags them off in public which we all know they hate, cannot organise a pub team tactically, cannot attract players, cannot speak English, makes excuses about money all the time when he's had a lot more than many in our division, the list goes on.)
WE NEED A NEW MANAGER BY OCTOBER 1st!!!
