Grant's two biggest mistakes, media-wise:

1. Making a manifesto point of slagging off the fans. In the short-term it meant greater support for the next game, but people don't forget the sentiment and when things go wrong it makes it harder to plea for patience.
2. Telling the press that he took Croft off for a backheel against Tamworth - before he told Croft himself. Inept man-management, and sends out a very negative message to fans and players alike.
