I think her premise is that the grammar school system sets the life chances at 11 and that children should have equal chances.
She might have passed by 1 mark, her brother failed by one mark. From which the difference was entrenched.
I think the argument is bollocks.
Instead, you entrench it at 21 when those with good degrees from good universities get the advantages. Effect is the same.
