But isn't that exactly what cocked up Martin O'Neill's short-lived career at NCFC? Wanting to sign Dean Windass, and Chase refusing. Gutted that he left for Leicester. LEICESTER?? Remember what he did for them with next to no money?
Who SHOULD ultimately decide who we buy/loan or not? IF the budget is available, I'd rather it be a 'footballing' decision rather than an 'accountant' decision.
