It is ridiculous. Politicians should be allowed to be human and to make private remarks

that would be considered off-colour if they were made on a podium.

Actual corruption, fraud, money for mates and so on is one thing. An obviously light-hearted comment/clearly private mutters-to-self-out-loud is something else. It shouldn't even be being reported, to be honest.
