What a bunch of sanctimonious pricks we are becoming. After days of being solemnly told that some no name MP called for someone to die, I’ve now read the actual exchange - she says “I didn’t vote for you but please sort my bins out” [bit tactless] and he does a joke response to his mates saying “dear old bat who didn’t vote for me, hope you die before you get the chance not to vote for me again”

It’s a joke! Why the f**k does he have to resign? Are we really that pathetic and humourless these days??
