Whether he become a regular starter or not, I'd say it's great recruitment

We paid something like £100k for him and he'll be worth many times that when he leaves even if he is not a regular starter.

But even if he doesn't generate us a decent fee when he leaves, he's filled a space in the squad that would need to be filled by another pro that would have cost a lot more money, so again, has already paid for his transfer fee many times over through wage / transfer fee savings.
