Foo more thoughts now I’ve composed myself a bit

1. The formation does not suit the players we currently have. I thought in pre season it’s too narrow and today they manufactured an overlap down their right at will because Sainz does not track back.

2. Linked to that in this formation the deep lying midfielder is critical. Today Kenny had a stinker, as did Nunez at times. If those players give the ball away then they are straight in on the defence.

3. Old ground but I had hoped to never see either Duffy or Hanley again at centre back. The former is better than the latter but generally speaking it’s soul destroying to see.

4. Doyle looked quite decent but he’s not a left back. He will end up playing left sided centre back.

5. I remain unconvinced that Stacey is good enough defensively.

6. Angus seems to have given up trying to save shots.

7. You cannot have a front three with no pace or flair like that. Fassnacht is a complete waste of s place in the team.

8. Forson looked quite good but probably only as he dropped into space and tried to be positive.

9. Idah was quite good. Sargent did nothing.

10. I have come to the conclusion that ti rebuild we probably need to be more ruthless and remove all of the “old pro’s” from the side as I think their pedestrian play and attitude is an issue.

11. Rowe should not be forgiven for what he did today. Little c**t.
