From my one experience of an international tournament....

Euro 2016 in France, stayed in Lyon for 4 nights and went to 3 matches there and in St. Etienne.

First fans in town were Northern Irish and great "bantz", all good-natured and didn't see any trouble. Other fans encountered... Croatia, Albania, Ukraine, Czech, Romania, again all great fun, top atmosphere and didn't see any bad behaviour in the centre of town.

Last night in Lyon the England fans bowled in to town ahead of the match against Slovakia. Loads of dickheads, fighting, ripping stuff up. A few mates went to the match, one of whom was racially abused twice by other England fans. Loads more t**ttish fans as far as I'm concerned.
