Seems a decent time for a change. Am a bit bemused (but unsurprised) at some of the jubilation, he did a decent/middling job with the resources at hand and doesn't seem to be a terrible manager.

looking forward to seeing who we get in instead & to a squad/approach refresh - change being interesting at least.

Hope that the new guy will be good at bringing players on and will have a decent philosophy and approach.

Hope that he gets given time & space too.
