Nothing can be gained by harking back over a season which nobody wanted or expected

It's difficult to say anything which doesn't sound classically corporate about that, but I think he sounds genuinely positive and excited by the challenge.
He reeled off numbers about net spend at Brentford and Brighton and Southampton and Leeds and nobody wants to talk about where that kind of money comes from or the impact of going down having spunked £100+ million would leave a club like Norwich.
He's being honest about the fact that there simply won't be money to spend without sales and I have to respect that stance.
The discussion around players and their families not fitting into a new lifestyle might be one area where we can try to excel before we recruit. We can measure player performance until they have data coming out of their arses, but if they are not happy it won't matter a jot.
