And we’re back to the old chestnut of spunking billions

The market value for a nailed on player of his quality is well beyond what it is responsible for us to spend at this point in time.
I’m not sure many clubs will have players if his quality in that position either.
A bit like Buendia,Maddison et al… I find solace in the fact that we got to see them play and enjoyed it while it lasted.
