Having reflected more and watched it again, that’s the problem with the interview. We heard nothing but excuses. Prem is hard. Gap is massive. Covid killed us. Fans gave up. Media attacked us. No choice but to spread our resources thinly. We’ll never be able to compete.

No acknowledgement that the club - he himself - had any agency over anything. Powerless victims, blown by cruel events. Shrug. What can you do?

I just want to know what we’re going to do differently and better next time. Anything?
