My issue with Delia and Michael

Isn't the model. I don't dislike the model, the lack of debt, I think there's lots to be proud of in that and I'm aware it means there will be a ceiling for us.

I don't even think the model was entirely to blame for this season. Sure, more money would have helped but there's nothing from the recruitment to suggest we would have spent Β£100m effectively.

My issue is that they seem to want to have some to run the club and leave it to them, and they have to be more proactive than that. Not to say they should interfere but they absolutely should be able to cut the the senior leadership to find out what players and employees are saying, and they should definitely be more willing to cut losses more quickly.

Webber has done lots of good things but I can't see how it's going to continue to go well with him at the moment and why it would be a bad thing to get rid of the new contract offer before he signs it and keep a rotation of ideas etc. We probably lost Kieran Scott through their unwillingness to do so.

When we had Ed Balls it seems like we were more on top of stuff like this.
