Pay to take P&O to a tribunal and maybe get a little bit of compensation in 2 years time by the time the matter has been heard and money extracted from them?
The redundancy settlement offers are 'probably' pitched at roughly what a tribunal would make P&O pay out so it's either take that and move on, or not see that money for ages and go through the faff of an employment claim.
Sucks to be binned, but it's not the 80s/90s where they're going to be stuck in a dole queue for years. Jobs market generally is pretty hot right now.
