Well…

- Not enough players that can “mix it” when games get ugly or when the ref lets everything go.
- naive when it comes to playing the ref, staying down, winning free kicks, getting opponents in trouble… all manner of dark arts.
- generally lacking in pace.
- generally lacking in height, particularly obvious at set pieces.
- generally lacking in strength, often bullied off the ball.
- no defensive midfielder worthy of the name.
- lack of creativity in midfield, only a few players have it, most of our midfielders are much the same.
- defenders that have brain farts when under pressure, which is really dangerous when combined with a style of play where we attempt to play out from the back.
- a paucity of choice in forward positions, basically only Pukki and our other alternatives are a young lad who has barely played for us and is now injured, and a striker who barely scored and looks more comfortable playing as an auxiliary defender on the RW.
- as a result, no alternative plan to “try to thread it to Pukki”, making us currently very predictable.
- lack of depth in the squad, at least when it comes to quality.
- lack of any discernible pattern of play. What is the plan?
- a fatal lack of confidence after playing so many games and getting so many kickings.
