I'm finding this debate on whether we should get rid of Deansmith so difficult

I might have mentioned on here that I didn't want Daniel to go. I didn't want anyone to replace him.

It felt to me that Daniel's season hadn't properly got going - or at least was just showing signs of getting going. I also thought that IF we were to go down, he would be who I would want to lead us in the championship.

Anyway, that ship sailed and I wanted more than anything for it to work out for Deansmith. There is a lot to like about him but the football has been awful. I'm wondering if he's like Hoots? Nice chap, did his best to follow a charismatic leader but the footy style just not good enough.

That bit of me that relentlessly plays The Glad Game will be hoping that with a fresh start in the summer and his own squad, he'll make it all fun again.
