I'm always amazed, given the money tobacco companies have, that they haven't invented ...

... healthy cigarettes. Or, more accurately, non-harmful cigarettes. Nicotine is addictive, sure, but basically harmless and a mild stimulant. It surely wouldn't be impossible to remove the tar and carcinogens from the tobacco leaf and smoke? Or am I being absurd (I'm not a scientist, as I am sure is abundantly clear)?

It's almost as if they don't care whether their customers get ill and die...
