I mistook and went 55 years before I was born and nearly got the Boer War…

which blew my mind but having reset to when I was 19 luckily for me the BBC was formed and it was the year of the White Horse FA Cup final as well as Howard Carter discovering Tutankhamen so at 19, with the exhibition having been in the UK a few years earlier, I would have known a lot!

I then challenged the wife who is one year younger than me (who insisted on working out the year for herself!) and having checked, absolutely bugger all of significance happened that year.
