In the sense that but for promotion last

time, having sold the jewels at that time - Murphy's, Pritchard, Maddison, we would have been royally f**ked - and that was on the back of a modest spend in the Prem too.
Now imagine that, with an additional spend, higher wages than we were paying last time we were relegated and an almighty blow to finances for an unknown period due to a global pandemic.
I'm relieved we didnt spin the roulette wheel on a load of exspensive signings and accompanying wages when we got promoted.
