Well, there's no way of it being completely accurate

and many marks will have been fair.

However, it was very clear that if you were a talented / hard working student at a school that has had historically poor results, you were going to be unfairly downgraded.

The algorithm did not even take account AT ALL in many cases of the teacher assessments, merely their pupil ranking.

Good students in poor performing schools were royally shafted.
