Daniel Farke addresses the media ahead of Norwich City v Everton (Wednesday 6pm KO). Updates to come from 1.15pm.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

DF: It's always the same after a loss, especially after such an important game. It's important to let the emotions calm down then analyse it in an objective way. It doesn't help to close our eyes and not speak about it.

DF: I have to keep myself up, without any doubt. When we lose a game, everyone is disappointed. It's important to show leadership, but I can't pretend to be in a good mood or dancing on the table. It's important to speak about what was good in the game and keep going. You can't allow yourself to be too down, it's my job to stay level.

DF: It's always the same and we are self-critical when we lose a game, but that's quite normal. I've been working so long in this business I know how these things work. There's many different ways to play, two upfront, more defensive players, changing the formation. There's no excuse because we lost the game and have no arguments.

DF: It was a fantastic result at Goodison Park, we were pretty close to a perfect away match. We have proof we are able to beat them, now we need to find the solution to be effective again.

DF: For every team it isn't easy to win points, we're not praying for results that go in our favour. We know it's up to us and no one can help us. If we win our games then we don't have to hope for help from other teams.

DF: It's a bit strange to have these games behind-closed-doors and the atmosphere is different. It was the same in Germany, for the first few games the quality was still there but not top-class. We have a busy schedule with high temperatures, it will be pretty exhausting.

DF: The players have work hard on their physical conditions, we are physically prepared, we just have to prove that the quality is there to win the points.

DF: There are no injuries and Marco Stiepermann is available for tomorrow after his coronavirus situation.

DF: The last Everton game was a long time ago, but we know when we're good in our topics we can beat anyone if we're at our best level. With individual quality like Everton, there is a bit of hoping they aren't on their best day.

DF: They have a hugely experienced coach in Carlo Ancelotti, his teams are so well set-up in attack and then can defend, even Liverpool were struggling. It says a lot about the club and him. We know we're the underdogs.

DF: The worse the conditions are, I feel the better chance we have. We're very physically prepared, so I have no complaints about the weather tomorrow.
