I know you struggle to keep up, so just to explain. Schools have never shut. They’ve been open for vulnerable children and the children of key workers. Including Easter and bank holidays. Staff have been in on rota. They have also been working from home, where possible. Setting and marking work, making phone calls, delivering food and generally supporting their communities. We’re all ready to go back to normal, when it’s safe to do so. Bringing back to pupils who are least likely to socially distance first, seems like an odd decision. A simple ‘thank you’ would have done.
