Random , legal ish question

Might as well ask here , good as anywhere!!

How many actual hours does house conveyancing take ?? As in if a solicitor or conveyancer, how many hours are billed ?
I know it takes weeks, but trying to gauge how much actual work there is.

Also , are the contracts pretty standard.
