Something occurred to me last night

That we have been so proud of the youngsters coming through but the players we’ve really needed this season and who have been consistent performers are Krul, Tettey, Pukki - the more experienced crew. And I wonder if we’ve underestimated how daunting it is to suddenly be at this level, and also with an inexperienced coach, and perhaps we just need to step back and work out what the coaching is to help them mentally deal with the step up. We seem much more fearful - and of course it’s easier to be confident when you’re top of the league, but it would be a shame for that to keep sinking and lose sight of the inherent qualities.

Anyway long ramble which could be summed up as ‘the young lads need a hand’.
