who made the actual call do you think? the ref or the var ref?

or maybe the linesmanwomanpersonofficerassistant is tasked with looking at this? either way it'd take s**t hot clarity and vision to make a call like that without oh, i dunno, the ability to review the play on screen?

i think games are practically being reffed remotely not sure if that's necessarily good for the game. why bother having refs at the game at all just have a jury of 12 refs with a judge ref who has a casting vote and they all get 30 seconds to make a decision on every single passage of play that one or the other side doesn't agree with.
