I know a lot of the debate is around the 1st innings batting collapse etc

...but we shouldn't lose sight of the fact that we've just got hit for 600. And it's hardly the first time recently that teams have hit massive scores against us and only needed to bat once.

I think we do have to accept that our test bowling attack isn't top class anymore. Particularly anywhere overseas. And when that's true you struggle to win test matches in the end. It is all about bowling the other lot out twice.
