I thought poor old Prince Andrew came out of his interview very well

What I don't understand is why he felt the need to cease contact with his friend. Surely once someone has done their time, we encourage rehabilitation. Are sex offenders not allowed friends?

He has a water tight alibi, he couldn't sweat at the time, and he rarely did PDAs.
