PM: OM - GoF discussion

Hello OM,
I've been loving your reviews but not found the appropriate time to respond. Here are some of my thoughts:

Episode 1: I thought it was a really good start. In your review, you weren't that impressed with the women actors. I would definitely have given a shout out to Arya and Sansa for their meaningful looks. I loved Arya's 'cool dragons!' Look as they flew overhead.

Episode 2: Fab! So nice to see so many old faves relaxing and chatting. I had no problem with Arya and Gendry. Arya deserves some fun and it was all initiated by her. As I haven't read he books, I'm not stressed by what age she really is. I think the only slight issue for me is that the actor they cast for Gendry is too old. He looks (and is I think) 30. He should be younger!

Episode 3: I never like the battle ones as much - too tense and too much fighting for my liking. I can see this was beautifully shot but too dark! I know that's how it would have been and it added to the chaos etc but I really struggled to follow. However, I loved Arya killing the Night King! Since watching it, I've read comments that people have been annoyed that it was over so easily and quickly after all the build up over all the seasons, but it worked for me.

Epoisode 4: I'm still processing it, but it made me very gloomy!
