This is not remain vs exit

May’s deal (which is not even that of the Cabinet) has been rejected twice as EU would still have control.
Leaving without a deal has been rejected by parliament and the EU will not blink as we have more to lose as once we’re out the terms for return will be punitive so they win.
As a country we are begging for an extension which means the EU are in the driving seat and can set the terms. At the moment we are a laughing stock.

The only way to get back on the front foot is to revoke Article 50 which will take back control, create a plan for brexit approved by the people via a “national” government and then invoke Article 50 again.
