Watched that peter Jackson thing last night. Really thought the documentary part of it was

fantastic but while the imagery was impressive, I think they overdid it. All the CGI just made me wonder how much was real and how much was embellished. From an imagery point of view I preferred the Apocalypses:WW1 series from PBS. They colourised the film and adjusted the frames to be a natural speed and that was it. That felt far more powerful to me as the only thing which may have been not entirely genuine was the colour.

The apocalypse series is a very very good documentary but I have to say the voiceovers in jackson’s Doc we’re very powerful, all being from people who were there.
