Waghorns piece today

I think he's got it all wrong. If he seriously think that all "Worthy-outers" only wans him out because they "don't like him", he is way off.

Sure, some may have a grudge against him, but I would be surprised if the majority of the fans are very much grateful for what Nigel has done for the club. The turnaround right after his appointment, the playoff campaign, and of course the promotion season. Nobody is underestimating Worthingtons contribution to the cause.

The problem now is that - based upon how the team is performing, both in terms of results and approach to the game - people have lost faith in the managers ability to turn things around once more. Questionable transfer dealings, tactical choices which seem very odd to a large portion of the fans are also adding to the general lack of belief in mr.Worthington.

It has nothing to do with Nigel as a person. Yes, some of us has made the odd remark, called him names, but that is simply a sign of frustration in combination with the fact that it is a bit too easy to write things on internet message boards, which one normally would say.
