Very strange thinking in my view

If you had local midweek games then clubs would get bigger midweek crowds for those games and I don't think the difference between an away following for a short trip or a long trip on a Saturday would be as pronounced as the difference between a Saturday trip and a midweek trip so over the course of a season I think this means less fans through the gates overall.
